WATCH: Organizing For Action Rallies For President’s Economic Plan In New Ad

Organizing For Action, the non-profit 501(c)(4) that succeeded President Barack Obama’s re-election campaign, released a new ad on Friday highlighting the president’s economic speech tour. The minute-long video, titled “A Better Bargain,” features points from the president’s speech in Illinois on Wednesday, in which he pushed for legislation that would create jobs, improve education, and reduce poverty.

“Thanks to the grit, resilience, and determination of the American people, we’ve been able to clear away the rubble from the financial crisis. We’ve started to lay a new foundation for stronger, more durable economic growth,” Obama said. “But we’re not there yet. What we need is not a three-month plan, or even a three-year plan, we need a long-term American strategy.”

The president’s economic plan, which the White House calls “Securing The American Dream And Strengthening The Middle Class,” urges Congress to pass policies that would allow the federal government to invest in industries that help middle-class Americans gain the skills they need to earn a living wage, while simultaneously cutting the country’s deficit.

“I won’t be able to do it alone, so I’m going to be calling on all of us to take up this cause,” Obama said. “Good jobs, better bargain for the middle class and for folks who are working to get into the middle class, an economy that grows from the middle out that’s what we need.”

This week, the president outlined his plan to create jobs and strengthen the middle class in speeches in Illinois and Florida. Next week, he will continue his economic tour and give a similar speech at an Amazon fulfillment center in Tennessee.

With little more than six months until Election Day, Donald Trump is preparing for an “authoritarian” presidency, and a massive, multi-million dollar operation called Project 2025, organized by The Heritage Foundation and headed by a former top Trump White House official, is proposing what it would like to be his agenda.
